NanoPass is a medical device company focused on transdermal drug delivery.In August 2009, the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) entered into an agreement to use NanoPass Technologies' MicronJet microneedle intradermal delivery technology to be used with products against diseases including tuberculosis, HIV, malaria, leishmaniasis and leprosy, and also diagnostic skin tests.In February 2004, NanoPass signed an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline plc's Biopharmaceutical Centre of Excellence for Drug Discovery to develop NanoPass's MicroPyramid technology for the delivery of vaccines. In April 2005, The Britech Foundation gave the collaboration an STG 0.45 million (US $0.86 million) grant twhich would fund development of the technology for 2 years.In July 2012, the company closed a new round of financing which was led by Israel HealthCare Ventures
