The objectives of this study are testing the feasibility and effects of the social media-based self-administered acupressure with mindfulness meditation in the family caregivers of frail older adults and investigate the preliminary effects of the intervention by testing the hypothesis as below: (1) this intervention will be feasible (primary outcomes); (2) caregivers will have stress reduction (secondary outcome) after the intervention; (3) caregivers will have improvement on the sleep quality, caregiver burden, and mindful attention and awareness (tertiary outcomes).

Those who met the criteria for eligibility and provided informed consent were randomly allocated into either the intervention and control group by block randomization and computer-generated random numbers. An independent researcher who was not involved in collecting or entering the data or delivering the interventions
Single-blind. The researchers but not the participants know the makeup of the test and control groups during the actual course of the research.

Family caregivers meeting the following criteria will be included: (1) aged 18 or above, understand Chinese,; (2) as the primary caregiver of frail older adults at frail stage aged 65+ (scores of the Simple Frailty Questionnaire >=3) and provide unpaid caregiving (helps frail older adults with activities of daily living) at least 14 hours per week; (3) have a smartphone and using WeChat.;
登录查看Participants meet the exclusion criteria as below will be excluded: (1) have contraindications to acupressure or MM (e.g., suspected fractures, tumors, tuberculosis, severe heart and lung disease, pregnancy, infected skin and wounds in the selected region); (2) have an acute psychological problem; (3) joined in interventional studies involving acupressure, acupuncture, mindfulness meditation or other mind-body intervention (e.g., Tai chi, yoga) within six months.;
