The proposed study explores and attempts to promote physical activity and fundamental movement skills among preschool-aged children through family-based intervention. This intervention targets the behaviours of parents and children which may yield promising results regarding the family's engagement in physical activity during leisure time.

The randomization process will be conducted by the principal investigator using a computer‐generated random number table, in the presence of other noninvolved researchers. Research assistants who are responsible for data collection and analysis will be blinded to group allocation at all time points.

入选标准

1. preschoolers (three- to five-year-old children); 2. preschoolers' father or mother will be recruited in the study instead of the grandparents or others; 3. only Chinese participants will be recruited.;

排除标准

1. participants (include preschoolers and their parents) with different types of disabilities (e.g., psychiatric disorder, mental; retardation, visual and hearing disabilities, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder), chronic medical disease (e.g., cancer, heart failure, asthma); 2. individuals (include preschoolers and their parents) who physically disability couldn't participate in physical activities normally, and preschoolers who physically disability couldn't perform the fundamental movement skills (e.g., run, jump, kick).;
